Now call me shallow if you will, but I know for a fact that I am not the only one who critiques athletes' appearances. In a world so consumed with body image and flawless faces, one cannot help but notice those sports stars that are more beautiful than others. Here, in my opinion, are the athletes who are easiest on the eyes:
10 - Kerry Walsh At 29, Walsh is the number one ranked women's beach volleyball player in AVP pro league and competed in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. She flaunts her toned tummy, long sun-bleached hair and firm booty in her uniform - a barely there bikini. Kerry isn't just a pretty face either, she graduated from Stanford University
.9 - Jennie Finch U.S. women's softball pitcher Jennie Finch helped lead her country to its third straight Olympic gold medal in Athens. When she's off the field, this petite package can be seen strutting down the red carpet of charity events in revealing gowns.
8 - Natalie Gulbis Eighth spot on this list originally belonged to Andy Roddick, however, some felt that Natalie was more worthy of making the cut. 24-year-old Gulbis, who is an American pro golfer, is your typical fake and bake blonde from Cali. I must admit that she does have a smokin' body, oversized chest included. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
7 - Danica Patrick This Secret anti-perspirant endorser shocked the Indy Racing world as the first female to pilot her own car. Although she's most threatening behind the wheel, Patrick makes a mean model. Off the track, she can most often be seen lying across the hoods of her cars in almost nothing at all.
6 - Adam Scott Scott is currently the number-four ranked professional golfer in the world, but that's not the reason he caught my eye. The 27-year-old Aussie, with his stunning eyes and chiselled jaw, has a cute preppy fashion sense and models in his spare time.
5 - Wade Redden I'm sure I'll take flack for this one, but Saskatchewan farmer - or as I like to imagine, cowboy - Redden fits the tall, dark and handsome mold to a tee. Now in his 10th season with the Ottawa Senators, his hair line has started to recede a bit, but my crush is still going strong.
4 - David Beckham Well how can you not include him? The new L.A. Galaxy front man, was born with a picture perfect mug, has a killer body and is so well primped by wife Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham that he is literally worshiped by women around the world.
3 - James BlakeThis American pro tennis player used to be known for his dreadlocks, but since shaving his head and adding a rugged beard, he has grabbed the attention of women everywhere, even Oprah. His piercing eyes and pure complexion combined with his sheer determination - he returned to tennis after suffering a broken neck in 2005 - make him a true catch.
2 - Maria Sharapova As Anna Kournikova's predessesor and token hot female tennis player, Sharapova, leaves men drooling with her tight, undersized outfits on and off the court. Although I believe that a lot of the hype surrounding Sharapova is in part due to great marketing, I would have been ridiculed by all my male friends had I excluded her from this list.
1 - Tom Brady Though I'm quite tired of hearing that he is dating a new model/actress, or has got another celebrity pregnant, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is drop dead gorgeous. His baby-face dimples and five o'clock shadow have converted non-football followers to devoted Patriots fans.
